Internet Auto Award
The Internet Auto Award is Europe's largest online audience award for the automotive industry and was presented on April 29, 2013 for the 11th time by AutoScout24 . Up to 300,000 online users from all over Europe have chosen the most popular vehicle on the Internet in various categories over the past few years and thus decided which manufacturer wins in the individual categories. Each winner receives a trophy specially created for the occasion : the CAROLINA.
In the polls from January 14 to March 15, 2013, a total of 65 new models were available in the two categories “Best Car” and “Best Electric Vehicle”. In each category, the most popular model and thus the respective European winner was determined.
At the 11th Internet Auto Award, the “Design” category was added to last year's “Future” category, for which the AutoScout24 editorial team awarded a special prize. AutoScout24 also raffled off an Opel Adam and a Mercedes-Benz A 250 Sport among all those taking part in the online voting .
