The products

These include decor paper , finish foils, melamine films , water-repellent foils and other product innovations that are produced using the gravure printing process or on industrial digital printers for decor printing. Only water-soluble colors and organic pigments are used for this.

Decorative paper

Decorative paper production, Arnsberg

Decorative paper is a wet-strength, resin-compatible and printable paper with high opacity for lamination of wood-based materials. The decor paper is printed with wood, stone or creative decors either in classic rotogravure printing or digitally on industrial digital printing systems for decor printing.

Digital printing

Industrial digital printing DPM2

In May 2015, Interprint started the world's first industrial digital printing system for decorative paper . With a maximum print width of 1,680 mm, the single-pass inkjet system realizes reports of over five meters. The decor paper printed with water-based inks can be impregnated and processed with various wood-based materials.

The second digital printing machine (DPM2) went into operation in autumn 2019. The result is improved print head technology and higher resolution. The third digital printing press should be ready for use as early as the first half of 2021. When the RotaJet 225 is commissioned, the entire bandwidth up to a print width of 225 cm will be available.

Xelio

XELIO is the brand name of the Interprint finish foil range. The aim of the various surface effects is to make the decors look very natural - in terms of both appearance and feel. XELIO is produced at the Ozorków location in Poland .

Melamine film

A paper impregnated with a melamine resin or urea resin is called a “melamine film”. After impregnation in the impregnation channel and subsequent drying , melamine films are usually cut into sheets and stacked on pallets. In a further operation, the arches are pressed together with a carrier, for example a chipboard and a counter-tension, to form a wood material under pressure and heat in a press . Additional functional arches such as an overlay can also be applied. This product is produced in Samara in Russia and Curitiba in Brazil .

Premeer

Premeer is the Interprint brand name for a water-repellent polypropylene film manufactured by Interprint USA . Premeer is an environmentally friendly alternative to PVC films because it is produced without formaldehyde. In addition, it is highly water-repellent and can therefore also be used in damp rooms compared to decorative papers or finish foils. It can be used as a profile wrapping film, as a ceiling or wall panel or also for bathroom furniture.
