Irene Brugger

Irene Brügger (born November 11, 1979 in Willisau , Lucerne ) is a Swiss musician , columnist and actress . She has performed under the pseudonym Frölein Da Capo since 2007 .

Life

Irene Brügger completed a commercial apprenticeship after completing compulsory schools . She made her first musical experiences in local field music , in rock groups and in an a cappella band. In May 2007 she appeared for the first time as a solo artist Frölein Da Capo . In April 2010 she released her first CD Frölein Da Capo and Bänd ; a second CD with the title mixed platter was released in September 2012. In 2009 she cast a role in the Swiss feature film The Sandman . From 2010 to 2012 she worked in the satirical program Giacobbo / Müller of the Swiss television with, and in December 2012 she played as Einfrauorchester 21 Arosa Humor Festival .

As Frölein Da Capo, Irene Brügger mimes the "innocence of the country". She sings her own songs in Swiss dialect and accompanies them on the guitar, the euphonium , the piano or the trumpet. Their trademark is the use of a loop device; the name Da Capo alludes to this. After her solo programs Mischtes Plättli and Nöies Zöigs , she has been on tour with the program "Kämmerlimusik" since 2018. Her first book Episödali and her columns were published in the Luzerner Zeitung in September 2015 . Since 2015 Irene Brügger has been writing columns for the family magazine "Schweizer Familie", also under the pseudonym Frölein Da Capo. A collection of these columns was published in book form in 2017 under the title "Buntes Treiben", the second book with collected columns "Once around the tree" was published in 2019.

Irene Brügger lives in Willisau with her husband and two children.
