Ivan Gennadjewitsch Nalimow ( Russian Иван Геннадьевич Налимов ; born March 12, 1994 in Novokuznetsk ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with HK Sochi in the Continental Hockey League since October 2019 .

Career

Ivan Nalimow comes from the offspring of Metallurg Novokuznetsk before he was selected by SKA Saint Petersburg during the KHL Junior Draft 2011 . From 2011 he was for the SKA-1946 junior team in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League and was statistically one of the best goalkeepers in the league in the 2012/13 season.

In 2012 he was part of the squad at the U18 World Cup , where he finished fifth with the team. At the turn of the year 2013/14 he represented his country at the U20 World Cup in 2014 for the first time at U20 level and won the bronze medal with the Russian team .

In 2014 he moved to Admiral Vladivostok , where he became a constant KHL goalkeeper.

From August 2018 he played for Kunlun Red Star before moving to HK Awangard Omsk in November of the same year .
