Jörg Bergen (born June 27, 1966 in Marbach am Neckar ) is a former German football player and coach .

Career

player

Bergen started playing football at the age of four at TV Pflugfelden, a district club from Ludwigsburg , and moved to FV Markgröningen in the Ludwigsburg district at the age of eleven . After four seasons he moved to the youth department of the Stuttgarter Kickers in 1981 , where he was active for three seasons. Outgrown adolescence, he moved in 1984 in the amateur team and completed three seasons in the Verbandsliga Württemberg , before he said in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg gambling FC Marbach joined.

For the 1991/92 season he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching in the Bayern League which he completed with her as a champion. In the promotion round , Haching prevailed against SSV Reutlingen and Viktoria Aschaffenburg and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . In his first second division season , Bergen played 42 of 46 league games and scored seven goals. He also played ten DFB Cup games in which he scored a goal in the second round in 1993/94 in a 2-0 win against Eisenhüttenstadt FC Stahl .

With the relegation at the end of the 2000/01 season he left the club and joined the amateur team of FC Bayern Munich in the third-class Regionalliga Süd , for which he played 22 point games in two seasons. He then completed a season for the football department of TSV Dorfen in the city ​​of the same name in the Erding district . From 2005 to 2007 he was again active for the second team of SpVgg Unterhaching, as a player and for a season also as an assistant coach under Fredi Ruthe.
