Jörg Haasters (born June 8, 1940 in Berlinchen , Brandenburg ) is a German orthopedist.

Life

After graduating from high school in Grevenbroich , Haasters studied medicine at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg from 1961 . In 1962 he became a member of the Corps Palatia-Guestphalia . In 1969 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD . As Restant in the Air Force (Bundeswehr) he was 1,971 medical officer of "S" pilot school in the airbase Wunstorf . He then spent two years in surgery at St. Josef Hospital in Oberhausen-Sterkrade . After another two years with Benno Kummer in the anatomy department of the University of Cologne , he went to the orthopedic clinic at the University Hospital Essen and was trained as an orthopedist by Karl Friedrich Schlegel . Haasters completed his habilitation and became senior physician in charge. In 1985 he became Medical Director of the Damp Clinic . He was involved in sports medicine and became an adjunct professor at the University of Flensburg . After retirement, he headed the Damp training academy from 2005 to 2007 .

As a reserve officer , he placed himself and the hospital in the service of civil-military cooperation . In the Territorial Army he was for decades mob beorderter medical officer , last Colonel doctor d. R. and regiment commander of the 71st hospital regiment (na) . His successor was Rüdiger Döhler . Haasters was awarded the silver and gold crosses of honor of the Bundeswehr and is a corresponding member of the German Society for Military Medicine and Military Pharmacy .
