Jürgen-Peter Stössel

Jürgen-Peter Stössel (born May 18, 1939 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer.

Life

Stössel first studied German and art history in Munich until 1964 , then veterinary medicine and received his doctorate in 1966. He was a veterinarian in the country and in industry and from 1969 to 1973 editor of a medical magazine. After being dismissed without notice due to a pharmaceutical-critical publication, he worked as a freelance medical journalist and book author at Ammersee in Munich, and from 1989 in Freiburg / Breisgau. There he headed the PSO aktuell magazine for people with psoriasis, which he co-founded in 1991 .

From 1972 to 1977 Jürgen-Peter Stössel published the magazine Literarian Hefte with Klaus Konjetzky , Dagmar Ploetz , Roman Ritter and Uwe Timm and worked in the group of words Munich . In addition to his journalistic activities, especially for the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the magazines bild der Wissenschaft , Der Spiegel and various radio companies, he has published poetry, literary prose and essays since 1963.
