Jürgen Abel
Jürgen Abel (born March 11, 1941 in Bremen ; † April 17, 2009 ibid) was a German translator from American English, English and French.
Life
Jürgen Abel was born in Bremen as the eldest son of the director of the Bremen Übersee-Museum Herbert Abel and his wife Adele, b. Bavendamm was born. He had an older sister and a younger brother. Abel lived and worked for many years in the USA and in Munich before returning to Bremen in the late 1990s.
