Jürgen Cziesla

Jürgen Cziesla (born July 4, 1931 in Königsberg , East Prussia , † July 9, 2011 in Zurich ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Live and act

Jürgen Cziesla completed his acting training at the German Theater Institute in Weimar and with Eduard Marks at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . As a result he had engagements at the Darmstadt State Theater (1955–1959), the Schauspielhaus Bochum (1959–1961), the Regensburg Theater (1961–1964), the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden , the Hamburger Kammerspiele (1964/64 season), the State Theater Hanover (1964–1966) and the Theater Basel (1966–1977). From 1977 to 2000 he was part of the ensemble of the Schauspielhaus Zürich . During this time he participated in over 80 performances.

During his career, Cziesla had numerous appearances in feature films as well as television films and series. There are radio play productions with his participation from 1965 to 1995.

Jürgen Cziesla was married to the actress Barbara Marks , the daughter of his teacher Eduard Marks.
