action

Somewhere on a north German Baltic island in a fictional town called Boestrum. The upper secondary school at the local high school is considered to be particularly spirited. It consists almost exclusively of boys, only the tomboy Daniela is a girl. She has to be particularly boyish, combative and boyish, in order not to be bullied by her rough classmates. And so she is part of every classic “boys game” and is an outspoken spokesperson for many things. Gradually, the classmates gain the impression that Daniela is more of a boy than she is and rebel against Daniela's gruff tone of command. Then she temporarily withdraws from the class community.

When news spreads that the heartless forester Biersack plans to have all the cats in the area killed in order to make a profit from their skins, all hell breaks loose. The old cat enemy has already convinced the council of his plan. Now the students of Tertia and Daniela must finally stand together to prevent this terrible animal murder. The pupils also get to deal with some youngsters from Boestrum, who hope for a nice little extra income from the cooperation with the fur trader. It is the brave and courageous Daniela who, with her two mastiffs, rises to be the leader of the cat rescuers and prevents the massacre of the Felidae. The fight of the tertia has paid off, and the young students receive an award from the local animal protection association .
