Jürgen Mikol
Jürgen Mikol (born March 13, 1942 in Marl ) is a German actor .
life and work
Jürgen Mikol was initially active almost exclusively as a theater actor - among other things, Mikol was a drama student of Curt Bois . Mikol began his theater career in 1967 at the Schaubühne on Halleschen Ufer . Since the beginning of the new millennium he can be seen more and more on television. He achieved great fame as a television actor through the role of "Grandpa Plate" in Alles Atze . Mikol played in several crime scenes (including Nachtfrost ) and had roles in The Miracle of Bern and What does not fit is made to fit, among others . In 2008 he was also seen in a few episodes of Mensch Markus alongside Markus Maria Profitlich and in the ARD series Pfarrer Braun . In 2010 he stood in front of the camera for the cinema production Hotel Lux , directed by Leander Haußmann . In 2011 he can be seen in the SAT.1 series The Last Bull . Mikol appeared on stage in 2010 as Alfred “Disgust” Alfred Tetzlaff in A Heart and a Soul , and in 2012 he played the role of father in the play “The man who ate the world” by Nis-Momme Stockmann . Since 2013 Mikol has played in the play "Kabale und Liebe" at the theater in Dortmund.
