Jürgen Parche

Jürgen Parche (born September 12, 1946 in Leipzig , † February 18, 2010 in Berlin ) was a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Parche completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and then studied architecture in Weimar . He dropped out of this course after two years. From 1971 to 1976 he studied at the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig with Wolfgang Mattheuer , Arno Rink and Werner Tübke . From 1976 to 1978 he was a master student of Bernhard Heisig , from 1978 to 1980 assistant at the Halle University of Applied Sciences , Burg Giebichenstein . From 1980 to 1990 he was freelance in Hintersee . He spent the next ten years in Gassin near Saint-Tropez . From 2000 to 2002 he lived and worked in Grünheide (Mark) , then in Berlin until his death.

He showed his works at solo exhibitions and exhibition participations in Germany and abroad. Some of his works are in public ownership at the Beeskow Art Archive , the Poliklinik in the former EKO Eisenhüttenstadt and the HELIOS-Klinikum Bad Saarow .
