Jürgen von Bülow

Jürgen von Bülow (born September 30, 1956 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer for young people , screenwriter , director and lecturer for film dramaturgy. He lives in Stuttgart and comes from the Mecklenburg nobility, the von Bülow family .

Live and act

In the 1980s Jürgen von Bülow worked as assistant director at the Staatstheater Stuttgart under the direction of Hansgünther Heyme , worked as a screenwriter for Felix Huby and Roland Emmerich before receiving a scholarship for the script workshop of the Munich Film School in 1991 . In 1993 he was awarded the Federal Film Prize in silver for his short film “REPLAY” and in the following years wrote scripts for well-known TV series such as Marienhof , Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten , Disney Club and Tigerenten Club .

He has been a lecturer in text design at the LAZI Academy since 2001, and since 2005 as a lecturer in moving images at the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education . He also works as a freelance screenwriter and theater director. In 2008 he received the German dialect award for his Swabian production “Die Frau fürs Leba”. In the same year the first volume of his youth book series “Ich bin's, Nika!” Was published by Franckh-Kosmos Verlag Stuttgart. Since then, five more volumes in the series have been published.
