President Yeltsin is expected in Washington. As soon as he has recognized his mistake, he shows up in Meg's office to take the letter back.

Rabb is kidnapped by the Chinese government. He is said to have revealed during interrogation how the Americans will behave if China attempted to usurp the Matsu Islands by force. Colonel Matthew O'Hara, a deserving and highly decorated soldier, stole the United States' Declaration of Independence to extort $ 500,000,000 in ransom. It turns out the Colonel is MacKenzie's uncle. While searching for the explanation, the team runs into CIA agent Clayton Webb.

A marine corporal escapes after 8 years from the Grotton Brigg prison where he was imprisoned for espionage. He takes Admiral Chegwidden, MacKenzie and Roberts hostage and calls for his trial to be retried because he believes his trial has been manipulated by false information. In these proceedings he was represented by Admiral Chegwidden. Rabb and Webb work from the outside to prevent CIA agent Osborne from killing the hostage taker.

Rabb has to prove that an F-14 squadron that accidentally bombed a mosque during Operation Desert-Storm has not been cursed after several accidents during the season, and one of his best friends died.

Rabb and MacKenzie face each other in a hearing. Rabb wants to charge a Navy SEAL with homicide who shot his best friend on a secret mission. Rabb goes too far in the trial and fires a submachine gun into the ceiling of the courtroom. When he realizes that the SEAL killed himself to forestall his release for his HIV disease and homosexuality, he drops the charges.

Rabb is in a hospital because of an accident where an Israeli diplomat is undergoing a heart transplant. Terrorists occupy the hospital and set conditions that must be met for the doctors to proceed with the transplant. Rabb and MacKenzie, who speak Persian fluently, try to overpower the terrorists.

Former Spy Special Agent Clark Palmer appropriated Rabb's identity in order to kill a key witness in a trial led by Rabb and MacKenzie. He ties Rabb to a motion detector in his apartment, which has been provided with explosives.

The Marines bring a deceased Navajo Indian back to his tribe. He served as an encryption specialist during World War II. An American F-14 collided with an Italian civil helicopter in Italy. Six civilians died in this accident. The pilot states that he avoided another aircraft. Rabb assumes his defense and MacKenzie the court-martial indictment. The Italian government wants to indict the pilot himself. Rabb receives help from Chegwiddens daughter in the investigation.

Roberts and Simms 'wedding is endangered by Robert's father and Simms' mother. Rabb, Roberts and Chegwidden are arrested after a fight in a strip club. Robert's father threatens and beats his little brother Mikey because he doesn't want to join the Navy.

Rabb is leaked a photo of his father showing him being deported to Siberia after the Vietnam War. Rabb asks the admiral to begin the search. He grants the request and sends MacKenzie along to support Rabb. Once in Russia, they use the help of the local taxi driver Alexej, who seems to be loyal and always carries out the orders of the highest bidder. Rabb and MacKenzie meet “Falcon” (Sokol) and Colonel Parlovsky. There are indications that Rabb and MacKenzie have to travel to Beloika. To get there, they have to steal a MIG-29. They are being hunted and shot at.

Season 4

The first broadcast of the fourth season was from September 22, 1998 to May 25, 1999 on the US broadcaster CBS . The German-language premiere of the first 21 episodes broadcast the German Free TV transmitters Sat.1 from 30 July to 17 December 2000. The last three episodes sent the German Pay TV transmitter premiere of 27 December 2000 to 1 January 2001.

Rabb and MacKenzie are still in Russia looking for his father. Because they are considered missing after their stolen MIG was shot down by Russian interceptors and the Russians announce a tragic accident as a result of a test flight, the admiral flies after them. Meanwhile, a pair of siblings tries to help Rabb and MacKenzie in their search. Incidentally, Rabb blows a mafia ring for Webb. In addition, he now learns more about his father's whereabouts.

The Sudanese ambassador staged a takeover of the embassy in Washington in order to stand as a hero in front of the Sudanese people and become president. Rabb and MacKenzie are "by chance" at a party at the embassy. They try to free the hostages - including a professor who is popular among the people.

An officer in the surface forces aboard the USS Reprisal is charged with raping a minor in Japan. US-Japanese relations are in a critical phase, the case is also diplomatic because the father of the alleged victim was injured by an American atomic bomb in his childhood. The American base in Japan is thereby in danger. In addition, the commander kills himself. Rabb and Major MacKenzie are only allowed to take part in the Japanese trial as observers.

Rabb and MacKenzie are out with the admiral in Gaeta, Italy, because an American Navy officer stole 5 Stinger missiles to sell to Afghans. The admiral naturally wants to use this opportunity to meet his daughter who lives there; at this meeting she is kidnapped. His ex-wife Marcella, who is now married to a rich man, and he are trying by all means to find her again. It is not yet clear what the link between the hijacking and the theft of the missiles and what role the mafia plays.

Former Vietnam fighter pilot Dick La Croix threw himself out the window to his death at the Paley War Veterans Clinic. Roscoe Martin, also a patient at the clinic, is then accused of withholding the drugs from La Croix. Martin is certified as having a severe personality disorder, which makes him extremely aggressive. That's why he should have watched the jump out of the window. On charges of negligent homicide, he is defended by Rabb, who, although struggling with his client in the course of the hearing, can ultimately explain the real motives for his actions. In addition, the two manage to uncover grievances in the clinic.

Terrorist Jalil Nasseen is arrested in an attack on a Navy ship off the Saudi Arabian coast in the Persian Gulf. When he arrives at the well-guarded naval base, Marine Corporal Barry shoots him in front of the television cameras. In the subsequent murder trial he was defended by Commander Rabb, with Major MacKenzie representing the prosecution. Despite a very good performance as a defense attorney, Rabb is dismissed by the defendant and replaced by MacKenzie's former law professor. This is paid for by a rich industrialist who has previously strongly criticized the government for the process. The case becomes explosive when Rabb realizes that Jalil Nasseen is not dead at all and that the case is therefore only a show trial.

Two Navy Tomcats are attacked while flying over the Iraqi no-fly zone. Even after repeating the request to shoot several times, Lt. Commander "Karma" Rice doesn't. Instead of shooting at the enemy, he dares a maneuver to protect his colleagues. He collides with the enemy. His plane begins to burn on the wings and crashes as a fireball. He can still save himself with the ejection seat. In the subsequent JAG investigation, he speaks of a voice that prevented him from shooting. But nothing can be heard on the radio tapes. Rabb then has Karma repeat the flight, which almost goes wrong.

The TV station ZNN reports in a special episode of an alleged war crime. A US Marine Corps reconnaissance team reportedly used chemical weapons during Operation Desert Storm to kill three American chemical technicians who were serving Saddam Hussein. A videotape published by reporter Norman Delaporte confirms these allegations. A public hearing will be held, chaired by MP Bobbie Latham, with Rabb asking for assistance. He is now trying to save the reputation of the military in Washington. At home, MacKenzie meets her husband.

The episode begins with MacKenzie's husband Christopher storming into her apartment. After showing up in the previous episode, he now wants to be with MacKenzie again. Although she still hasn't filed for divorce, she has long since finished with him, also because he spent several years in prison during their marriage. Since Christopher owes the loan shark Turpin $ 15,000, he breaks into MacKenzie with his people and beats up Christopher. However, this will be postponed for another day to repay. Christopher then blackmailed MacKenzie and her former boss Colonel Farrow over a past affair. This could mean the end of a career for a married JAG member. Christopher is murdered the following day. MacKenzie and Farrow are now charged with murder and conspiracy. Since the trial takes place at the JAG Corps, MacKenzie is defended by Rabb.

The Navy pilot Jack Keeter is arrested by Iranis. He is said to have shot himself from a plane over the desert. Now he is accused of espionage. It says the death penalty. He was Rabb's roommate at the academy. That's why he wants to fly to Iran with Major MacKenzie to get him back. The aircraft was a special flying wing that failed several stability programs. However, it turns out that Keeler didn't shoot himself off the plane, but landed in the desert. Rabb and MacKenzie are now working again for Webb, whose plan was espionage. With the help of the local CIA agent, they free Keeler from prison and look for the plane. This is supposed to fly Rabb back to the aircraft carrier. The plane has since been discovered by Bedouins, which is why Rabb has to negotiate with them. Shortly before the Iranian army arrives, he leaves MacKenzie and Keeler as pledge and flies to the porter. The CIA agent turns out to be a double agent who also betrayed the location to the Iranis.

There is chaos in Washington. In the days leading up to the holidays, the city is hit by a snow storm. Rabb gives employees off given this weather. However, a little girl answers who turns out to be MacKenzie's sister. Chloe lives with her stepfather and his girlfriend. They don't look after them very well. She was even mistreated by her friend. Meanwhile, Rabb gets a case in which a navy psychologist had an accident with her car in the snow and is said to have been under the influence of alcohol. From what Chloe said, Lt. Roberts to find the girl's biological father. He was killed on a ship on her birthday. Her mother is no longer alive either. MacKenzie doubts the statements, but it turns out that the biological father is still alive. And Rabb recognizes the cough syrup of the psychologist with whom he befriends as the cause of the positive alcohol test.
