Rabb is leaked a photo of his father showing him being deported to Siberia after the Vietnam War. Rabb asks the admiral to begin the search. He grants the request and sends MacKenzie along to support Rabb. Once in Russia, they use the help of the local taxi driver Alexej, who seems to be loyal and always carries out the orders of the highest bidder. Rabb and MacKenzie meet “Falcon” (Sokol) and Colonel Parlovsky. There are indications that Rabb and MacKenzie have to travel to Beloika. To get there, they have to steal a MIG-29. They are being hunted and shot at. |
Season 4
The first broadcast of the fourth season was from September 22, 1998 to May 25, 1999 on the US broadcaster CBS . The German-language premiere of the first 21 episodes broadcast the German Free TV transmitters Sat.1 from 30 July to 17 December 2000. The last three episodes sent the German Pay TV transmitter premiere of 27 December 2000 to 1 January 2001.

Because they are considered missing after their stolen MIG was shot down by Russian interceptors and the Russians announce a tragic accident as a result of a test flight, the admiral flies after them. On charges of negligent homicide, he is defended by Rabb, who, although struggling with his client in the course of the hearing, can ultimately explain the real motives for his actions. Terrorist Jalil Nasseen is arrested in an attack on a Navy ship off the Saudi Arabian coast in the Persian Gulf. When he arrives at the well-guarded naval base, Marine Corporal Barry shoots him in front of the television cameras. In the subsequent murder trial he was defended by Commander Rabb, with Major MacKenzie representing the prosecution. Despite a very good performance as a defense attorney, Rabb is dismissed by the defendant and replaced by MacKenzie's former law professor. This is paid for by a rich industrialist who has previously strongly criticized the government for the process. The case becomes explosive when Rabb realizes that Jalil Nasseen is not dead at all and that the case is therefore only a show trial. | |||||||

Two Navy Tomcats are attacked while flying over the Iraqi no-fly zone. Even after repeating the request to shoot several times, Lt. Commander "Karma" Rice doesn't. Instead of shooting at the enemy, he dares a maneuver to protect his colleagues. He collides with the enemy. His plane begins to burn on the wings and crashes as a fireball. He can still save himself with the ejection seat. In the subsequent JAG investigation, he speaks of a voice that prevented him from shooting. But nothing can be heard on the radio tapes. A videotape published by reporter Norman Delaporte confirms these allegations. A public hearing will be held, chaired by MP Bobbie Latham, with Rabb asking for assistance. He is now trying to save the reputation of the military in Washington. At home, MacKenzie meets her husband. | |||||||

The episode begins with MacKenzie's husband Christopher storming into her apartment. After showing up in the previous episode, he now wants to be with MacKenzie again. Since Christopher owes the loan shark Turpin $ 15,000, he breaks into MacKenzie with his people and beats up Christopher. However, this will be postponed for another day to repay. Christopher then blackmailed MacKenzie and her former boss Colonel Farrow over a past affair. This could mean the end of a career for a married JAG member. Christopher is murdered the following day. The Navy pilot Jack Keeter is arrested by Iranis. He is said to have shot himself from a plane over the desert. Now he is accused of espionage. It says the death penalty. He was Rabb's roommate at the academy. That's why he wants to fly to Iran with Major MacKenzie to get him back. The aircraft was a special flying wing that failed several stability programs. However, it turns out that Keeler didn't shoot himself off the plane, but landed in the desert. Rabb and MacKenzie are now working again for Webb, whose plan was espionage. With the help of the local CIA agent, they free Keeler from prison and look for the plane. This is supposed to fly Rabb back to the aircraft carrier. The plane has since been discovered by Bedouins, which is why Rabb has to negotiate with them. Shortly before the Iranian army arrives, he leaves MacKenzie and Keeler as pledge and flies to the porter. The CIA agent turns out to be a double agent who also betrayed the location to the Iranis. | |||||||

There is chaos in Washington. In the days leading up to the holidays, the city is hit by a snow storm. Rabb gives employees off given this weather. However, a little girl answers who turns out to be MacKenzie's sister. Chloe lives with her stepfather and his girlfriend. They don't look after them very well. She was even mistreated by her friend. Meanwhile, Rabb gets a case in which a navy psychologist had an accident with her car in the snow and is said to have been under the influence of alcohol. From what Chloe said, Lt. Roberts to find the girl's biological father. He was killed on a ship on her birthday. Her mother is no longer alive either. MacKenzie doubts the statements, but it turns out that the biological father is still alive. And Rabb recognizes the cough syrup of the psychologist with whom he befriends as the cause of the positive alcohol test. | |||||||
