Jaime Romero Gómez (born July 31, 1990 in Valdeganga ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

society

Jaime Romero was born in the municipality of Valdeganga in the Spanish province of Albacete and started playing club football here in the youth of the Albacete Balompié provincial team. For the Spanish second division season 2008/09 he was accepted into the professional squad and made it into the starting line-up right away. As an eighteen-year-old he had completed 36 of the possible 42 league games by the end of the season and scored three goals.

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the Italian first division club Udinese Calcio . Here he played mainly for the reserve team in the first season and was only used in four games for the professionals. From summer 2010, he was only on the AS Bari on loan and in the summer of 2011 to the FC Granada .

For the second half of the season Romero went to Orduspor as a loan player in the Turkish Süper Lig . After Orduspor missed relegation at the end of the season, Jaime Romero returned to Udinese.

In the summer of 2013, Real Madrid loaned the left midfielder for a year to join Real Madrid Castilla .

National team

In 2008 Romero completed six appearances for the Spanish U-19 national team .
