James Martinez (actor)
James Martinez (born in New York City , New York ) is an American actor best known for his role as Alex Romero in the fifth season of the Netflix series House of Cards .
Life
Martinez visited in his hometown, the High School in Forest Hills , where he joined the theater club and played numerous roles there. He got his first TV role in 2003 in the crime series Law & Order . Other roles such as 2011 in the series Breaking Bad followed. In 2017 he joined the main cast of the fifth season of the Netflix series House of Cards , where he played the role of Alex Romero.
Martinez also stars in the Hulu series Love, Victor . Since June 2020 he has played the role of Armando Salazar there. The spin-off series for the film Love, Simon was produced by actor Nick Robinson and others and is about Armando's son Victor, who is moving with his family to a new town and has to deal with his sexual orientation there when he realizes that his heart beats for his classmate Benji.
