James Geoffrey Ian Norton (born July 18, 1985 in London ) is a British actor . He was best known for his roles in British television series such as Happy Valley - In a Small Town and Grantchester . He was nominated for a British Academy Television Award in 2015 for his role as ex-convict Tommy Lee Royce .

Media such as the Daily Mail or VIP.de treated him as the next Bond candidate .
