Jan Bülow

Jan Bülow (born June 21, 1996 in Berlin-Friedenau ) is a German actor.

Life

Bülow completed his acting training from 2015 to 2019 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin. Before completing his training, he was hired by the Schauspielhaus Zürich and was a permanent member of the ensemble there for the 2018/2019 season. His first role there was the title role in Hamlet by William Shakespeare , staged by artistic director Barbara Frey . At the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, Jan Bülow became a permanent member of the ensemble of the Vienna Burgtheater under the direction of Martin Kušej .

Since 2012 Bülow has also been seen in cinema roles, for example on Matthias Kutschmann's Radio Heimat . He also starred in Christian Alvart's Netflix series Dogs of Berlin in 2017 and 2018 . In the 2020 biopic Lindenberg! Do your thing about the young Udo Lindenberg he starred, singing several songs by the protagonist himself.
