Cynthia Jane Rosenthal (born September 21, 1956 in Providence , Rhode Island ) is an American film producer .
Life
After completing her studies, Jane Rosenthal worked for nine years as a producer for the television station CBS , where she produced more than 70 television films. In 1989, together with actor Robert De Niro , she founded the production company Tribeca Productions in New York City , with which she subsequently produced films. In 2002 she organized the Tribeca Film Festival for the first time with De Niro .
Rosenthal, who lives in New York City, was married to Craig Hatkoff from 1995 to 2014 and has two daughters with him.
