Janne Schäfer (born May 28, 1981 in Henstedt-Ulzburg , Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German swimmer .

Career

Her main position is the breaststroke , where she was particularly successful on the 50-meter sprint course. However, she was not allowed to participate in the Olympics over the 100 meter chest. Schäfer started for TV Jahn Wolfsburg for many years . From October 2008 she had the right to start at SV Nikar Heidelberg after successfully completing her Bachelor in Psychology and Master of Science in Management at the University of Bath in England . In July 2010 Janne Schäfer ended her swimming career.

More Achievements

She won fifteen German championship titles at German swimming championships , nine of them on the short course . Fourteen titles were over 50 m chest, one title over 100 m chest.
