Jarosław Rzeszutko (born October 17, 1986 in Gdansk ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with GKS Tychy in the Polish Ekstraliga since 2013 .

Career

Jarosław Rzeszutko began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Stoczniowiec Gdańsk . From 2002 to 2005 he attended the SMS Sosnowiec ice hockey academy , for which he was active in the second-class I league . From 2005 to 2010 he stood for Stoczniowiec in the Ekstraliga , the highest Polish division, on the ice. For the 2010/11 season , the attacker moved to the Newcastle Vipers from the British Elite Ice Hockey League . The team was then dissolved for financial reasons and he joined the Gothiques d'Amiens from the French Ligue Magnus . After only a year he left the Picardy team and returned to Poland. First he played on loan at Aksam Unia Oświęcim , before he moved to GKS Tychy in 2013 , with whom he won the main round of the Ekstraliga in 2014 , but was only runner- up after a lost series of finals (2-4 wins) against KH Sanok . In 2015 he won the double of the Polish championship and cup with the Silesians .

International

For Poland , Rzeszutko took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2003 and 2004 and the U20 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2005 and 2006 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2010 and 2011 and 2012 . He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver .
