Jayce Bartok
Jayce Bartok (born 1974 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .
Life and accomplishments
As a child, Bartok and his family moved to New York City . He graduated from NYU Film School and made his debut in a play at an off-Broadway theater. He played his first film role alongside Paul Sorvino in the televised crime film Almost Partners from 1987. In the drama King of the Fishermen (1991) he appeared on the side of Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams . In 1993 he starred in the music drama Swing Kids on the side of Robert Sean Leonard and Christian Bale . He also played a bigger role in the war drama Andersonville (1996), which was nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Miniseries category .
In the thriller I Still Know Where She Is Buried (1999), he played one of the four friends who accidentally kill a young woman ( Tara Reid ); other cast members included Rick Schroder and Jack Noseworthy . He played the leading role in the independent comedy Calling Bobcat (2000). In the comedy The Tollbooth (2004) as well as in the film dramas Red Doors (2005) and Walls (2006) he was seen in larger roles. He wrote the screenplay for the film drama The Cake Eaters (2007) by Mary Stuart Masterson and also played one of the leading roles in it.
Jayce Bartok has been married to makeup expert, director and producer Tiffany Bartok since 2003 .
