Jean-Maria Rakotondrasoa MS (born February 28, 1914 in Betafo ; † August 24, 2002 ) was Bishop of Antsirabé , Madagascar.

Life

Jean-Maria Rakotondrasoa joined the Order of Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette and was ordained a priest on April 11, 1939 .

Paul VI appointed him on February 28, 1974 Bishop of Antsirabé . The Archbishop of Tananarive , Cardinal Jérôme Louis Rakotomalala , consecrated him bishop on May 12 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Jean-Guy Rakodondravahatra MS, Bishop of Ihosy , and Bernard Charles Ratsimamotoana MS, Bishop of Morondava .

On June 19, 1989, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
