Jean Bobet (born February 22, 1930 in Saint-Méen-le-Grand ) is a former French cyclist .

Athletic career

In 1949 and 1950, Jean Bobet, who studied languages ​​and was called "le Professeur", was world champion student in road racing. Then he turned pro, mainly to race with his older brother Louison . He was instrumental in his brother's victory in the Tour de France in 1955 , he himself finished 14th; In 1957 he was 15.

Professional
