Jean Walschaerts
Jean Walschaerts (born May 19, 1943 in Berchem ) is a former Belgian cyclist and world champion.
In 1963, Jean Walschaerts became world champion of the amateurs in the single pursuit . The following year he took second place in the amateur standers at the 1964 UCI Track World Championships . In 1965 he became Belgian champion in the Derny race.
The Grand Prix Jean Walschaerts for women and juniors has been held in Antwerp - Wilrijk for several years .
