Piet van Heusden (born July 11, 1929 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch cyclist and world champion.

In 1952 Piet van Heusden was amateur world champion in the single pursuit in Paris when he beat the reigning world champion Mino De Rossi in the final. Before the race, De Rossi was so convinced of his own success that he had already handed out autograph cards with the words "World Champion 1951/1952" on them. In addition, van Heusden was from 1952 to 1955 four times in a row Dutch amateur champion in the pursuit. At the UCI Track World Championships in 1954 he lost in the semifinals to the Briton Peter Brotherton , protested in vain against the valuation of this run and finally did not take part in the run for third place.

Van Heusden resigned from active cycling as early as 1956, but remained connected to cycling in the organizing committee of the Olympia's Tour . He opened a tobacco shop and later worked in the management of the newspaper Het Parool .
