Jeff Renfroe

Jeff Renfroe (* in Seattle , Washington ) is an American film director , screenwriter and film editor . He became known through the movies One Point Zero - You are programmed , Civic Duty and The Colony - Hell Freezes Over .

life and career

Jeff Renfroe was born in Seattle , Washington, and grew up in Victoria , Canada . Since the beginning of the 2000s he has worked in various functions in the film business.

In 2004 he made the leap to the cinema with the horror drama One Point Zero - You are programmed , starring Richard Rees, Jeremy Sisto , Udo Kier and Deborah Kara Unger . Renfroe realized the film in cooperation with the Icelandic director Marteinn Thorsson. In 2006 he directed the thriller Civic Duty with Peter Krause and Kari Matchett in the leading roles. Between 2009 and 2018 Renfroe mainly worked as a director, screenwriter and editor for television.

In 2013, Jeff Renfroe directed the end-time science fiction thriller The Colony - Hell Freezes Over , which starred Laurence Fishburne , Kevin Zegers and Bill Paxton .

Renfroe is a partner in Milk Boss Industries with novelist and screenwriter Diane J. Wright. Milk Boss develops feature films, documentaries as well as films and series for television and the Internet.
