Jens-Uwe Bogadtke (born November 24, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German actor and voice actor .

life and work

Bogadtke studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1979 to 1982 . He made his stage debut on October 3, 1980 in the Berliner Ensemble with the play "Blue Horses on Red Grass" (director: Christoph Schroth). Since then he has played on various stages in Berlin: B. Volksbühne , Deutsches Theater , Berliner Ensemble, Theater im Palast. He is co-founder of the Theater im Palais (1991), where he was permanently engaged until 2001. He continues to work there as a guest.

Parallel to his stage work, from 1981 he worked in film and television productions for television in the GDR. There he made his debut alongside Ulrich Thein as Johann Agricola, Famulus of Martin Luther in the TV series of the same name (director: Kurt Veth ). He gained fame primarily through his participation in Walter Beck's fairy tale films, such as Der Bärenhäuter (1986) and Froschkönig (1988), in which he played the title role, as well as The dispute over the donkey's shadow (1990).

Since the fall of the Wall , Bogadtke has concentrated increasingly on his theater activities ( Theater am Rand , Theater im Palais ), although he occasionally appears as a guest actor in television series and films, e. B. in the ZDF series: The last witness .
