As early as 1989 he was keyboardist on Nena's album Wunder gescheh'n and composed the title Im Rausch der Liebe for this album .

Out of the desire to promote young talent, Jens Kuphal founded Nucleus Musikproduktion GmbH in Berlin in 1992 . Here he signed contracts with the young artists Wiebke Schröder and the citizen Lars Dietrich , who he is considered to have discovered. He also produced CDs and DVDs with Bonnie Tyler , Wyclef Jean , Manfred Krug , Alphaville , Till Brönner , Rammstein , Judith Lefeber , Paul van Dyk , Josie, the No Angels , Andre and the last solo albums by Hildegard Knef .
