Jeremy Kemp

Jeremy Kemp (born January 3, 1935 in Chesterfield , Derbyshire , England - † July 19, 2019 ), actually Edmund Walker , was a British actor .

Life

Kemp studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama . He began his career playing the role of Police Constable Bob Steele in the long-running crime series Z-Cars , which he played from 1962 to 1978. The following year he had an uncredited extra role in the monumental film Cleopatra . In the 1960s he starred in some war films such as Secret Action Crossbow and The Giant's Shadow . In Der Blaue Max he played a German for the first time with Willi von Klugermann ; Also in Blake Edwards ' Darling Lili as Kurt Von Ruger and in the miniseries Der Feuersturm and its sequel Firestorm and Ashes as Brigadier General Armin Von Roon , he embodied the German military. In the comedy film Top Secret! he represented the East German General Streck .

In the 1980s, he made guest appearances in the United States on various television series such as Hart but Cordially and Ein Colt just in case . In an episode of Starship Enterprise: The Next Century , he played Robert, the older brother of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. He was last seen between 1997 and 1998 as Hissah Zul in the adventure series Conan, the adventurer with Ralf Möller in the lead role.
