Jesús Benítez , full name Jesús Oribe Benítez Galeano , (born June 26, 1984 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.67 meter tall midfielder Benítez was at the beginning of his career from 2004 to the 2005/06 season on the squad of the then first division club Centro Atlético Fénix . In the 2004 season he was used in a first division game. In the 2005/06 season, eleven first division appearances (no goal) were recorded for league rivals Tacuarembó FC . From Apertura 2006 to Clausura 2008, he completed 56 other games in the Primera División , in which he scored two goals. In the Apertura 2008 and the Clausura 2009 he is listed as a player for River Plate Montevideo . At this career station, the statistics show seven first division matches (no goal) with his participation. Since the Apertura 2009 he was in the squad of the second division Miramar Misiones . He contributed to promotion in the 2009/10 season with nine hits in twelve missions. In the 2010/11 season he played eight games (no goal) in the Primera División for the Montevideans. At the beginning of 2011 he joined the Venezuelan association Guatire . From July 2011, he continued his career at Yaracuyanos FC , for which he completed 29 league games in the Primera División in the 2011/12 season and scored four goals. He was also used twice (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana . In July 2012 he moved to Guatemala to join Suchitepéquez . There he ran on in July and August 2012 in six games (no goal) of the Liga Nacional . In the Clausura 2014 he was in the ranks of the Uruguayan second division club Atlético Torque and was used 13 times (one goal) in the Segunda División . In the second half of 2014 he is said to have played for Uruguay Montevideo FC . In mid-January 2015 he moved to the Guatemalan club Deportivo Carchá , which was then coached by Ariel Longo . With the Guatemalans, he scored at least on matchday 11 of the 2015 Clausura against Heredia.

National team

Benítez belonged to the U-17 team of Uruguay coached by Juan Jacinto Rodríguez , who took part in the U-17 South American Championship in Peru in 2001 and finished in 6th place. He also played for the Uruguayan U-20 national team . At least in June 2007 he was a member of the U-23 team of Uruguay, which was supervised by Roland Marcenaro .
