Jesper Jensen (born February 5, 1987 in Nybro , Sweden ) is a Danish - Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Brynäs IF in the Svenska Hockeyligan since 2016 .

Career

Jesper Jensen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Nybro IF . From there he moved to the youth department of the Frederikshavn White Hawks , for whose second team he was active from 2004 to 2007 in the second Danish division, the 1st division . In the 2006/07 season, the center also made its debut for the club's professional team in the AL-Bank Ligaen . After he had spent the 2007/08 season with the second division Gentofte HK , he played again for Frederikshavn in the AL-Bank Ligaen from 2008 to 2011 and became one of the leading players in his team. In the 2010/11 season he was runner-up with his team. He himself was elected to the league's All-Star Team.

For the 2011/12 season , Jensen was signed by the Hamburg Freezers from the German Ice Hockey League . For the Freezers he scored five goals and six assists in a total of 55 games. He then moved in summer 2012 to Karlskrona HK from HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division. 2015 he managed the Rögle BK move up to the Svenska Hockey Ligan , before 2016. Brynäs IF changed.

International

For Denmark , Jensen only took part in the 2005 U18 World Junior Championship in the junior division. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the A-World Championships in 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 .
