The Jiangsu Classic 2009 (also: Wuzhou International Group Jiangsu Classic ) was a snooker tournament that was held from June 4th to 7th, 2009 in Wuxi . It was an invitation tournament as part of the Main Tour of the 2009/10 snooker season .
In the final, Mark Allen was able to prevail 6-0 against defending champion Ding Junhui and thus won his first professional tournament.
Mark Selby managed the first maximum break of his career in the group game against Joe Perry . Overall, it was the 69th maximum break in snooker history.
