JJ Gerndt
JJ Gerndt , actually Joachim Jurij Gerndt , (* 1959 in Munich ) is a German film composer .
Life
From 1980 to 1985 Gerndt studied jazz and film composition among other things at Berklee College of Music in Boston . Since 1986 he has been composing the film music for films and television productions. He also worked in the advertising sector. The commercial Hands (John Player Special), for which Gerndt composed the music, was awarded a Silver Lion in the film category by the Cannes Lions in 1993.
