Joachim Schweighöfer

Joachim Schweighöfer (born November 28, 1936 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actor .

Life

Joachim Schweighöfer is the son of the director and artistic director Willy Schweighöfer (1906–1980). Schweighöfer worked as a theater actor , with Frankfurt am Main always being the center of his artistic work. He often appeared in dialect roles . In 1967 he played together with Heinz Pielbusch at the Kleiner Theater im Zoo the Major of the Salvation Army Friedli in the tragic comedy Der Meteor by Friedrich Dürrenmatt . In 1968 he and Else Knott , Liesel Christ and Josef Offenbach were one of the prominent participants in a dialect evening organized by the Friends of Frankfurt , an association for the maintenance of the Frankfurt dialect , in the Palmengarten Frankfurt . Schweighöfer was a regular stage actor at the Volkstheater Frankfurt . In 1995 he was seen at the Volkstheater Frankfurt with Liesel Christ in the comedy Die five Frankfurter by Carl Rössler . The performance was also recorded for television. In November 2001 he played in the comedy Mein Freund Harvey at the Volkstheater Frankfurt . In April 2003 he played there in Agatha Christie's crime classic Die Mausefalle . In November / December 2004 he appeared at the Volkstheater Frankfurt as the landowner Cagnola in the play Don Camillo and his flock by Gerold Theobalt based on the novel by Giovannino Guareschi . In the 2006/2007 season he took over Professor Hinzelmann in the Singspiel Im white horse at the Frankfurt Volkstheater . In the 2007/2008 season he played again in Mein Freund Harvey , now for the first time in a Hessian version of the Frankfurt Volkstheater, in the role of the psychiatrist Dr. Fields of silence . In the 2008/2009 season he played at the comedy Frankfurt in the comedy Und alles auf Krankenschein by Ray Cooney .

Schweighöfer was seen in at least two episodes of the television series The Hesselbach Company . The film database IMDb lists an appearance in episode no.37 in 1962, The Pram . In addition, Schweighöfer played a cameraman in episode no. 43 Mr. Hesselbach and the film in 1966 .

Schweighöfer's roles included appearances in the television series The Strange Life Story of Friedrich Freiherrn von der Trenck , Des Christoffel von Grimmelshausen's adventurous Simplicissimus and A Fall for Two . He also played the role of O'Connor in the ZDF - Drama The secret partner . He also plays in the films In this Hell and Emigration .

In 1980 he had a guest role in the crime series IOB - Special Order , the comeback of actor Claus Wilcke .

On April 26, 1969, he also appeared as a guest on the ARD Saturday evening show One will win .

Schweighöfer also worked as a speaker. In 1956 he worked for the Hessischer Rundfunk in the radio play Ein Lebenswerk by Gerd Oelschlegel . In 1961, under the direction of Josefine Klee-Helmdach , he spoke a small role (man) in the radio play The Little Witch, based on motifs from the children's book by Otfried Preußler . In 1962 he took on one of the roles in the radio play Der Ekel by Jean-Paul Sartre at HR . In 1966 he took part in the radio play Sweet Grapes by Karl Richard Tschon, produced by Hessischer Rundfunk . In 1972 he spoke to HR as the first police officer in the original radio play Autoknacker by Leonie Ossowski .
