Joachim von Bredow (District Administrator)
Joachim Albert Michael Wolf von Bredow (born September 29, 1872 in Pessin ; † February 28, 1926 in Friesack ) was a German administrative officer, parliamentarian and manor owner.
Life
Joachim von Bredow is the son of Wolf Dietrich Otto von Bredow and Pauline Ernestine Elisabeth von Knoblauch . He studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1891 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After completing his studies and legal clerkship, he passed the government assessor examination in 1900 and was government assessor in Kyritz , Potsdam , Berlin and Sorau in the following years . In 1906 he became the district administrator of the district Sorau appointed. In 1917 he moved to the Niederbarnim district as district administrator .
Von Bredow retired from civil service in 1920 and was managing director of the Association of Prussian Districts until 1921 , of which he was then deputy chairman. He was the chief electoral director in Brandenburg and authorized representative of the Imperial Council of the Province of Brandenburg . He owned the Pessin I manor with a size of 690 hectares.
