Jochen Grywatsch

Jochen Grywatsch (* 1957 in Lilienthal ) is a German German scholar and editor . He is head of the Droste research center of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .

Live and act

Jochen Grywatsch studied German, English , American and Romance studies at the University of Münster and editing studies at the University of Osnabrück and graduated with a Magister Artium. In 1994 he was in Osnabrück with a thesis on Annette von Droste-Hulshoff to Dr. phil. PhD .

Jochen Grywatsch has been a scientific advisor to the literature commission for Westphalia at the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe and scientific director of the Droste research center since 1998 .

He is chairman of the Droste Forum and second chairman of the Annette von Droste Society. Until 2013/2014 he was co-editor of the Droste yearbook.

His main focus is on Droste research and literature in Westphalia . He edited several works on Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and other authors and edited volumes of the historically critical Droste edition.
