Johann Michael Feuchtmayer the Younger
Johann Michael Feuchtmayer the Younger , also "Feuchtmeyer", "Feuchtmayr", "Feichtmair" or "Feichtmayr" (* 1709 in Haid , near Wessobrunn ; † June 4, 1772 in Augsburg ), son of Michael (* 1667) from the artist family Feuchtmayer , was a sculptor and plasterer at the Wessobrunn school . Often together with his brother Franz Xaver Feuchtmayer the Elder , but also with Johann Michael Fischer , Johann Joseph Christian and Franz Joseph Spiegler , he worked on some of the most important church buildings on Oberschwäbische Barockstrasse .
His work in the Ottobeuren basilica deserves special mention .
