Johannes Ahn
Johannes Ahn (* 1979 in Cologne ) is a German actor .
Life
Johannes Ahn grew up as the son of Korean immigrants in Cologne. He completed his acting studies from 2005 to 2009 at the Arved Birnbaum Acting Center (formerly the German Center for Drama and Film ) in Cologne. In 2010 he went to the TVI Acting Studio in Los Angeles for further acting studies in the film sector .
During his training he played at the Arkadaş Theater in Cologne in 2007/08 . He now works as an actor for film and television. Due to his ethnic origin, he is often cast for characters from the Far East.
He made his cinema debut in a supporting role in the American-German martial arts production Ninja Assassin (2009), directed by James McTeigue . In the multi-part TV series In the Face of the Crime (2010) he played one of the numerous supporting characters, partner Ho. In Vienna's Tatort: Wrong Packed (first broadcast: March 2012) he played the young Chinese Tsao Kang, who works in a Viennese poultry processing company. He also belonged to the Far Eastern warlord Khan Baladur the historic to fill TV film The legacy of the Whore , 2012 as the third part of the " Walking whores " series on Sat.1 aired.
Ahn also took on several episode roles in television series. He had u. a. Appearances in SOKO 5113 (2015, as professional billiard player Jay Tukano, at the side of Wolfgang Bahro ), last trace Berlin (2016, as judo teacher Takeshi Tanaka), SOKO Munich (2017, as suspect Chinese Tian Li) and Heldt (2017, as Student Hong, at the side of Cristina do Rego and Daniel Donskoy ).
He also had a role in the German-Luxembourgish TV series Bad Banks , which premiered in February 2018 as part of the Berlinale 2018 at the Zoo Palast . In the 14th season of the ZDF series Der Staatsanwalt (2019), Ahn took on one of the episode roles as "slippery" lawyer Dr. Prince.
Ahn lives in Cologne.
