There he held the school's internal career record for the lowest average goal conceded with 2.14 goals per game.

In the 2006/07 season he moved to the American Hockey League for the Lowell Devils and was able to convince in his first year, but his performance collapsed the following season, so that he only came to a total of eighteen missions. In the summer of 2008 he received a contract offer from the Austrian first division club and then reigning champions EC Red Bull Salzburg and moved to Europe to give his career new impetus. Although he was not among the top goalkeepers in the league, he played a balanced season and eventually won the runner-up title with the club.

For the following season he returned to North America and formed the goalkeeper duo with Adam Berkhoel at the Wheeling Nailers . In December he finally accepted a contract offer from the EC KAC and played again in the Austrian league until 2010 before leaving the club for the 2010/11 season. In September 2010, Parise took part in the New York Rangers training camp and was then sent to the Hartford Wolf Pack . Two months later he signed a contract with Lørenskog IK in the GET-ligaen . At the beginning of October 2011 he received a temporary contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . In December 2011 he moved to the DEL for the Augsburger Panthers . In the summer of 2012, he switched to the Italian Serie A , where he signed one with HC Valpellice . He won the Coppa Italia with HC Valpellice in 2013 before ending his career in the summer of 2013. He then worked in the sales of medical products.
