Jorge Luis Wagner
Jorge Luis Wagner (born January 19, 1967 in Guaminí , Partido Guaminí , Buenos Aires Province ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Bahía Blanca .
Life
Jorge Luis Wagner studied philosophy at the seminary of the Azul diocese and theology at the seminary of the archdiocese of Mercedes-Luján . On September 2, 1993, he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca through Archbishop Rómulo García .
In addition to various tasks in pastoral care, he was temporarily responsible for youth pastoral care and then for catechesis in the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca. Archbishop Carlos Azpiroz Costa OP appointed him Vicar General of the Archdiocese. He was also a member of the council of priests and the college of consultors .
On 24 September 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Gergis and auxiliary bishop in Bahia Blanca. The Archbishop of Bahía Blanca, Carlos Azpiroz Costa OP , donated him episcopal ordination on November 16 of the same year . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Guillermo Garlatti and the bishop emeritus of Alto Valle del Río Negro , Néstor Hugo Navarro .
