José Roberto Fortes Palau
José Roberto Fortes Palau (born April 9, 1965 in Jacareí , São Paulo , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Limeira .
Life
José Roberto Fortes Palau received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of São José dos Campos on February 6, 1993 .
On 30 April 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of acufida and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Sao Paulo . The Archbishop of São Paulo, Odilo Pedro Cardinal Scherer , donated him episcopal ordination on June 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Campo Grande , Dimas Lara Barbosa , and the Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto , Moacir Silva .
On November 20, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Limeira. The inauguration took place on January 18 of the following year.
