José de Jesús Quintero Díaz
José de Jesús Quintero Díaz (born August 15, 1949 in Copacabana ) is a Colombian priest and Vicar Apostolic of Leticia .
Life
José de Jesús Quintero Díaz was ordained a priest on July 26, 1975 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him prelate of Tibú on January 5, 1996 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia , Paolo Romeo , on March 2 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Alonso Llano Ruiz , Bishop of Istmina-Tadó , and Gustavo Posada Peláez MXY , Former Bishop of Istmina - Tadó .
With the elevation to the diocese on December 29, 1998 he was appointed Bishop of Tibú. On October 23, 2000, he was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Leticia and Titular Bishop of Chimaera .
