Josef Peters (born September 16, 1914 in Düsseldorf ; † April 24, 2001 there ) was a German automobile racing driver .

Career

In 1952 he contested the Grand Prix of Germany , which at that time was held according to the Formula 2 regulations, as a private driver in his Veritas - BMW with the starting number 129. He started the race from twentieth starting position, but retired after only one lap out.

Also in 1952, Peters competed in his Veritas in the last Formula 2 race taking place on the Grenzlandring and finished third behind the Germans Toni Ulmen and Hans Klenk .
