Joseph August Hainz

Joseph August Hainz (born June 16, 1804 in Bensheim ; † November 18, 1879 there ) was a Hessian businessman and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Joseph August Hainz was the son of the businessman Sebastian Franz Hainz and his wife Franziska, née Rubel. Hainz, who was a Catholic, was a merchant and owner of a tannery in Bensheim and married Maria Appollinia née Feldhofen (1810-1893) on November 26, 1827 .

In 1850 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 4 / Bensheim . He was also a city councilor in Bensheim.
