Wilhelm Heinzerling

Wilhelm Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Heinzerling (born October 8, 1828 in Friedberg (Hesse) , † June 3, 1896 in Darmstadt ) was a German judge, university professor, parliamentarian and church politician.

Life

Wilhelm Heinzerling was born the son of Johann Georg Heinzerling (d. 1843), district judge in Friedberg, and Johannette Amalie Sell (b. 1797). His brother was the bridge builder and later rector of the TH Aachen Friedrich Heinzerling . After attending high school he studied at the Ludwig University of Giessen , the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn Law . In 1847 he became a member of the Corps Hassia Gießen . In the same year he joined the Corps Neoborussia Berlin . In 1849, Rhenania Bonn received the ribbon of the Corps .

After graduating, Heinzerling started a career as a judge. In 1858 he became an assistant with a voice at the Zwingenberg Regional Court , in 1871 a judge at the Darmstadt District Criminal Court and assistant at the Darmstadt Regional Court and in 1875 court judge at the Darmstadt court . In 1879 he was appointed Judge at the District Court for the province of Starkenburg in Darmstadt and in 1884 the High Court Judge at the Higher Regional Court of Darmstadt appointed. In 1888 he was appointed a member of the Hessian Administrative Court in Darmstadt. He was a member of the Hessian Justice Examination Commission.

In 1875, Heinzerling received a teaching position for law and economics at the Darmstadt Polytechnic . From 1876 he taught there, at the institute that was raised to a technical university in 1877, the basics of law and economics . He was editor of the Archives for Practical Law .

From 1872 to 1893 Heinzerling was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse , temporarily as its secretary. He was also President of the Hessian State Synod .

Heinzerling was married to Sophie Wagner.
