Joseph Son Sam-seok

Joseph Son Sam-seok ( Kor. 손삼석 , born November 3, 1955 in Busan , South Korea ) is a South Korean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Pusan .

Life

Joseph Son Sam-seok received on 6 February 1982, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 4, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Fessee and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Pusan. The Bishop of Pusan, Paul Hwang Cheol-soo , donated him episcopal ordination on July 9th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Daegu , Thaddeus Cho Hwan-Kil , and the Bishop of Andong , John Chrisostom Kwon Hyok-ju .

On April 10, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Pusan. The inauguration took place on June 4th of the same year.
