Josip Kazimir Drašković von Trakošćan (born March 4, 1714 at Trakošćan Castle ; † November 9, 1765 ) was a Croatian nobleman and general of the Austrian Imperial Army.

Josip Kazimir Count Drašković was the son of Ivan V. Antun Drašković (German: Johann V. Anton ), the Ban of Croatia from the Drašković house , and his wife Maria Katharina Countess von Brandis.

He was in military service since 1734, in the Austrian War of Succession as a lieutenant colonel and in the Seven Years' War as major general. In the Battle of Lobositz (October 1, 1756) he commanded the reserve, after the Battle of Kolin alarmed the retreat of the Prussians at Moys , took part in the capture of Schweidnitz , helped to defend Olomouc , for which he was appointed Lieutenant Field Marshal , conquered Glatz fortress on July 26, 1760 , but was repulsed and captured at Heidersdorf on June 21, 1762. Free again, he was promoted to General Feldzeugmeister in 1763 , and later to General Commandant in Transylvania . He died on November 9, 1765.

Because of his improper marriage to a woman from the lower nobility, his military advancement came quite late. Only his successes during the Seven Years' War led to the promotions he deserved. He received the Knight's Cross in his 3rd doctorate on December 4, 1758 and the Commander's Cross of the Maria Theresa Order in his 10th doctorate on October 15, 1765 .

In 1894, Draskovichgasse in Vienna- Penzing (14th district) was named after him.
