Julia Jendroßek (* 1992 ) is a German actress .

life and career

Julia Jendroßek grew up in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg , where she also passed her Abitur in 2010. At high school Julia Jendroßek was a founding member of a theater group under the direction of the actor and young director Max Hegewald . Together with her classmates, she developed her own plays, such as the "Ülstedt" project ( theater under the roof , Berlin). Here she was able to gather her first experience of turning. Under the direction of Max Hegewald, they jointly developed the feature film "Die Angsthasen". Julia Jendroßek plays the daughter of an alcoholic mother (played by Nadja Engel ) who, despite her youth, has to take responsibility for her mother. In addition, she worked in various theaters such as the Maxim-Gorki-Theater , Deutsches Theater Berlin and GRIPS Theater Berlin in youth club productions.

After graduating from high school in 2010, she completed an FSJ Culture at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, which resulted in several years of work as an assistant director for Tobias Rausch , Christoph Frick , Florian Fiedler and the Berlin puppeteer collective Das Helmi , among others .

She was discovered in 2013 by the director Sylke Enders ( Kroko / German Film Prize 2004) for the movie Schönefeld Boulevard and cast for the lead role of “Cindy”. The film celebrated its world premiere at the Munich Film Festival in 2014 . Julia Jendroßek played alongside Daniel Sträßer and Uwe Preuss a high school graduate who lives on the edge of the large airport construction site BER and tries to free herself from the sadness of her life.
