Liege Count Frederik Christian Julius Knuth-Knuthenborg (* July 12, 1787 in Copenhagen , † October 30, 1852 ibid) was a Danish bailiff and chamberlain.

Life

Knuth came from the Mecklenburg-Danish noble family Knuth , he was the second son of Frederik Knuth and his wife Juliane Marie, née von Møsting. His older brother was Eggert Christopher Knuth .

In 1809 Knuth became a jury member and in 1810 a chamberlain. In 1815 he became bailiff over Holbæk's office . In 1831 he was appointed bailiff over Sjælland's monastery and the Faroe Islands and at the same time bailiff over København's office . Knuth was also the master of the Bonderup manor on Midtsjjælland and administrator of the Knuthenborg manor on Lolland . From 1831 to 1840 he was a member of the General Billing Commission. In 1840 he became a secret conference councilor in 1847.

Marriages and offspring

On August 2, 1811, Knuth Ulrica married Christiane Haxthausen -Tienhausen (* November 7, 1787, † August 18, 1819) in Christiansborg Slotskirke in Copenhagen. The marriage had three children:

  • Count Eggert Frederik Christopher Knuth-Knuthenborg (born September 10, 1813 in Copenhagen, † June 15, 1830 in Bonderup)
  • Countess Marie Caroline Vilhelmine Knuth-Knuthenborg (* May 16, 1815; April 13, 1831)
  • Count Frederik Gottschalck Knuth-Knuthenborg, til Holtegaard (* March 20, 1817, † December 13, 1886 in Frederiksberg )

After the death of his first wife, Knuth married Georgine Frederikke Vilhelmine von Hauch on December 7, 1822 (* May 12, 1796; † October 4, 1841). The marriage had seven children:
